There is “Business” at the Natural and Organic Products Exhibitions

Demand for natural and organic products increases everyday especially in developed countries. With its geographical location and fertile lands Turkey is among the most preferred destinations of organic product manufacturers in the world. There are over 60.000 producers in the Turkish natural and organic products market, which has a market size of 1 billion USD, and total level of exports is around 400 million USD. The players of the natural and organic products industry which grows rapidly both in the world and Turkey will get together at Exponatura Exhibition that will be held at Istanbul Fuar Merkezi between 3-6 November 2016 with support from the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock of Turkish Republic. The “Distributor Buyer Wanted” program that will bring together natural and organic product producers and distributors as part of the exhibition is expected create an additional business volume of 100 million USD. Exponatura is recognized as the biggest international exhibition of the industry in Turkey in terms total number of exhibitors and visitors.

The 8th Exponatura which will be organized by Tureks Uluslararası Fuarcılık with support from Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock of Turkish Republic will be featuring numerous product groups including natural and organic food items, diabetic products, herbal medicines, vitamins and herbal cosmetics as well as natural honey products and apiculture products as part of the “Honey Year” concept of the exhibition. As part of the exhibition which will last for 4 days, a “Distributor- Buyer Wanted Program” will be organized with the goal of creating an effective business platform for exhibitors and distributors and to maximize business opportunities offered for exhibitors and visitors.


Natural and Organic Products market grows by 10% every year
Natural and organic products market that has attained quite diverse product range in recent years in Turkey attracts attention with its double-digit growth figures in recent years. On average, 15 to 35% growth per year is expected in fresh fruit-vegetable, textile, legume, nuts and fruit juice categories during the next five years. And in the domestic market where 90% of total production is exported, big companies continue to invest in this area as well. And among the leading product groups that are promising for the future are baby food products.


Target is additional business volume of 100 million USD
Tureks Uluslararası Fuarcılık General Manager Nergis Aslan who made a statement about the exhibition that hosts foreign exhibitors and visitors as well, said “This year, we’ll be hosting exhibitor companies and visitors from numerous countries including Germany, The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Bulgaria and Turkic Republics. The Turkish companies’ interest in organic products increases every year and they want to enter the global market. Based on the feedback we’ve received from exhibitors in previous years, we’re now bringing to life a new program called ““Distributor- Buyer Wanted Program” that will bring together producers and distributors. The program will save time and cost to producers that wish to meet new potential distributors. Companies signing up on the system will be able to give appointments to each other to make mutual business meetings during the exhibition. We expect this program to result in an additional business volume of 100 million USD.”
